Who you are buying from
Sparky Study Notes is a business name of Mohammed Razak, a sole trader.
Address for service: 32 Thornhill Road, Coventry, CV1 4HR, United Kingdom.

What you are buying
Access for a period, not ownership. A membership gives you a personal licence to use Sparky Study Notes for 12 months from the date of purchase. You are not buying the notes themselves, and nothing here transfers ownership of them to you.
Access covers whatever is on the site during your 12 months, including anything added while your access is live. It does not promise that any particular feature will still exist, or that planned material will arrive by a particular date.
What it costs
- £100 for 12 months.
- There is no automatic renewal. Nothing is taken from your card again. We will offer you a renewal before your access ends, and it is yours to accept or ignore.
- If you joined at £100, your renewal price stays at £50 for as long as you keep renewing, even if the price goes up for new members.
What you may do
- Read, watch and use everything on the site for your own study.
- Download the PDFs and print them for yourself.
- Use the calculators, tests and Ask Sparky within the stated limits.
What you may not do
- Share your account. One person, one account. Sharing a login ends your access without a refund.
- Redistribute anything. No uploading, posting, emailing, selling or passing on the notes, PDFs or videos — in whole or in part.
- Use it commercially. Not for training other people, not inside another course, and not as the basis of a competing product.
- Bulk download or scrape the site, by hand or by script.
Everything on Sparky Study Notes is our copyright, except material quoted from published books, which belongs to its publishers and is referenced rather than reproduced.
Ask Sparky
Ask Sparky is an AI tutor that answers from these notes. Your membership includes 1,000 questions over your 12 months, up to 10 a day. If you use them all you can buy more: 250 for £5 or 500 for £10. They are added to your current 12 months and end with it. It is a revision aid and it can be wrong — check anything that matters against your books. It is not professional advice and must not be used as instructions for electrical work.
What we do and do not promise
- These are unofficial study notes, written up by a student on the same qualification. They are not produced or endorsed by any training provider or awarding body.
- We do not promise you will pass. Nobody honestly can.
- We check everything against the books and correct mistakes when they are found, but notes can contain errors. Always check anything critical against the current edition of BS 7671 and the official guidance.
- Nothing here is a substitute for proper training, supervision or professional judgement.
If something goes wrong
If the site is unavailable or something does not work, tell us and we will put it right. If a fault means you genuinely lose a meaningful part of your access, we will extend your access or refund a fair part of it.
We are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, or for anything arising from using these notes as instructions for carrying out electrical work. None of this limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited by law. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
Ending your access
- You can stop using the site whenever you like. See refunds for when money comes back.
- We can end your access, without a refund, if you share your account, redistribute the material or use it commercially.
- When access ends you keep nothing — the licence ends with it, including for PDFs already downloaded.
If we stop trading
If Sparky Study Notes closes down, we will tell members as early as we reasonably can and refund the unused part of any membership, worked out by the months remaining.
Changes
We may change these terms for future purchases. The terms you agreed to when you bought stay with you for your 12 months, unless a change is needed by law.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK you keep the protections of your own law.
