Cancellation and refunds

Last updated: 23 October 2026

In short: you normally have 14 days to change your mind. But if you ask for access straight away — which is the point of buying — that right ends as soon as you are let in. We ask you to confirm that at checkout, before you get access, so it is never a surprise.

Who you are buying from

Sparky Study Notes is a business name of Mohammed Razak, a sole trader.
Address for service: 32 Thornhill Road, Coventry, CV1 4HR, United Kingdom.
Contact: sparkystudynotes@gmail.com.

Your 14-day right

If you buy as a consumer, you may cancel within 14 days, starting the date after your purchase, without giving a reason.

The bit that matters: immediate access

If you ask us to give you access to the notes, videos, practice questions and Ask Sparky straight away — before those 14 days are up — then your right to cancel ends once access begins. That is how the law works for digital content, and we have to ask you to confirm it before letting you in.

At checkout you will see this, unticked, and you choose it yourself:

☐ I expressly request immediate access to the digital study content and acknowledge that, by receiving access, I lose my 14-day right to cancel.

We record the exact wording you were shown, your confirmation and the time, so there is a clear record for both of us.

The same applies to an Ask Sparky top-up (extra questions bought once your 1,000 are used): you are shown the same box, unticked, and the questions are yours as soon as it goes through. If a top-up is refunded, its questions are taken back; your membership is not affected.

So when do you get money back?

Part-way through the year

A membership runs for the full 12 months you bought. Stopping using it does not create a partial refund for time you have not used. There is no automatic renewal, so nothing is charged again unless you choose to renew.

How to cancel or ask for a refund

Email sparkystudynotes@gmail.com from the address on your account and say what you want. We will confirm in writing. Refunds go back to the card you paid with, normally within 14 days of us agreeing it.

Your statutory rights

Nothing here affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If the content is not as described, or not of satisfactory quality, you have rights that these terms cannot take away. If you are unhappy with how we have dealt with you, you can contact Citizens Advice.
