Lock-off devicesDoes a lock-off still need a padlock?

The notes
Exactly as they are on the site.
| Device | What it is for |
|---|---|
| MCB lock-off with a grub screw | Clamps onto a breaker toggle |
| Spring / clip type | Locates into the small holes and grooves in the side of a breaker or main switch. The better pick — sturdier, and nothing to lose |
| Fuse carrier lock-off | Covers the fuse of a fused connection unit so it cannot be pushed back in |
| Multi-lock hasp | Where several people are working on the same system, each fits their own padlock |
| Large lock-offs | Big breakers and isolators |
A combination device still gets a padlock. The lock-off holds the switch; the padlock stops anyone removing the lock-off.
