Guidance Note 3 · p.26. Every conductor or core is identified as necessary — and there is one absolute prohibition:

✋A single colour of green must never be used. Not for live conductors in power circuits, not for the protective conductor, and not for a functional earthing or bonding conductor.
Green-and-yellow means protective conductor, and nothing else

You can sleeve conductors to identify them within reason. The cpc and the bonding conductors are the one thing you cannot re-identify — you never use green-and-yellow for anything else, and you never sleeve over it.

Test yourself on it

The tests are in the members’ area. Get one wrong and it shows you why, and where to revise.
